C. Low is an O’ahu-born, Kāneʻohe-raised author who graduated from the University of Hawai’i English Department with her Masters in Creative Writing. She has published fiction, non-fiction, and poetry in many online and print journals, including The Hawai’i Review and has appeared on the It’s Lit podcast. She also received the Editor’s Choice Best New Writer award in Bamboo Ridge’s Centennial edition and the 2024 CNF prize from SGD.She is a second generation immigrant whose Chinese father was born and raised in Fiji and whose Haole mother was born and raised in New Zealand, so (right or wrong) she considers herself a Pacific Islander.
